Disclosure statement

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact dad@blogofdad.com.

I do occasionally accept sponsorship or paid topic insertions on products or services that are in keeping with the values of Blog Of Dad. I do not use banner adds or pop-ups, because I know how annoying these are when I visit other websites (no, I don’t want to lose 20 kilograms). My reviews are usually based on products or services that I have purchased during my other role of “father”; however, I will (if offered) accept and keep free products or services from companies and organisations, as long as they are in keeping with the values of Blog Of Dad. Any sponsored or paid posts, or reviews in which I have received free product, will be labelled clearly.

I no longer actively use third party affiliate programs as I felt that they did not add any value to Blog Of Dad. I have endeavoured to remove all affiliate links from the site, but it is possible that there are some that I have missed. If you find one, please let me know and I will change it as soon as possible. If they are still on Blog Of Dad, they should still be clearly labelled as affiliate links.

The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mine. If I claim or appear to be expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
