Last week I posted my photos from pre-dawn Cronulla. I took the photos with my smartphone after my run. In that post I moaned about not throwing my DSLR into the back of the car, so that I could have captured some better shots.
This week I actually remembered to pack the camera! I’m pleased that I did. The winter sky again put on a show of brilliant colours well before the sun appeared. If this isn’t motivation enough to get out of bed and go for a run, I don’t know what is! Soaking in the stunning scenes along the Cronulla foreshore is definitely the best part!
The Best Part
Click on the photos to see them full size. Go on, it’s worth it. They look much better large!
For those of you keeping score, I managed another eight kilometres yesterday morning. Perhaps next week I will go for nine. After all, the City2Surf is now only a few weeks away! My biggest problem is that I will run out of Cronulla. I already run almost the full length of the Esplanade! Perhaps I will have to settle for doing laps. Whatever I decide to do, I’m sure that soaking in the view at the end will once again be the best bit of the run!
