Epson EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV

If you are the kind of person who has ever walked into JB HiFi, looked at an 86″, 4K TV on display and said “it’s good, I guess… I just wish it was bigger,” then I have got news for you! Epson have just redefined “big 4K TV” With the launch of their Epson EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV.

Up to 130 inches of 4K viewing goodness should satisfy just about any viewing requirements. The Epson EH-LS500B uses an Ultra Short Throw Projector along with an Ultra High-Definition Ambient Light-Rejecting Screen to produce what should be an excellent visual experience in any viewing environment. The ultra-short-throw lens can be set up just half a metre from any wall.

Epson’s breakthrough laser technology produces up to 3x brighter colours and up to 20,00 hours of virtually maintenance free operation. Higher image contrast, instant ON/OFF and ultra-bright images (4000 lumens) provide a huge boot in viewing experience over traditional projector technology.

The Epson EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV uses a Dedicated Digital Imaging Processor to provide real-time full 12-bit analogue-to-digital video processing for smooth tonal transitions. An impressive contrast ratio up to 2,500,000:1 can be expected to produce deep blacks and brilliant, vivid colours.
