Chicken, peppers and basil tray bake

My Sunday Photo – Chicken, Peppers and Basil Tray…

We actually managed to get out and about this weekend and enjoy some sunshine. Hannah was just thrilled to finally be allowed outside of the house. We visited a beautiful park, but I forgot to take my camera. Instead, I’m back on the food photos. This is from tonight’s dinner – Chicken, peppers and basil tray bake.

The recipe for this tasty dish comes from the wonderful Adam Liaw. We have made it a couple of times, and each time it has been delicious! It’s dead simple too – Chicken (thigh on the bone with skin), capsicum, onion, seasoning and some basil are the main things you need. Fry it in a pan, bang it in the oven and about half an hour later you have a tasty dinner.

We added a simple salad and a side of homemade potato chips. It was such a simple meal to make and so, so tasty!

As always on a Sunday, I’m linked up to the excellent #MySundayPhoto linky. It’s hosted by Darren Coleshill on the website PhotalifeI highly recommend you click on the link (or the badge below) and check out everyone’s photos.

I figure you lot don’t mind, my Japan photos always seem to get a lot of interest. This week’s flashback is of the amazing Nishiki Market.

My Sunday Photo – Kyoto Imperial Palace (Japan Flashback)

I’ve been trying to shake a cold for a couple of weeks, so I haven’t been out and about with the camera. It’s a shame really, because these late-Autumn Sydney days have been pretty stunning! No  doubt I’ve missed a good sunrise or two, but sleep is more important at the moment. We are heading back to Japan again for My Sunday Photo (I have a near-endless supply of Japan photos!). This time to the Kyoto Imperial Palace!
